Sirloin strikes a great balance between flavor and tenderness. It's a hearty, satisfying steak that cooks beautifully on the grill or in a cast iron pan and always feels right at home on the dinner table. 

How We Cook It at Home

Sirloin steak comes from the sirloin section, which is toward the back of the animal, between the short loin and the round. This area is minimally used, creating steaks that strike a nice balance between tenderness and rich beef flavor. 

We cook this a couple different ways depending on the day. Sometimes it goes on the grill or into a hot pan for a quick steak dinner, and other times we toss it in the slow cooker with broth, onions, and whatever veggies we have on hand. It holds up really well either way and you get a hearty, flavorful meal.
