1 lb filet mignon, from Triple E Farm
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves, chopped
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Preheat a grill or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
Put the steaks on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached.
In a small bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, thyme leaves and a pinch of salt and pepper.
