Why Kidney Is So Good for You

Beef kidney is one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat. It's packed with iron, B12, and selenium. How We Cook It at Home

At our house, we treat kidney like a delicacy. The traditional way is steak and kidney pie, where you cube it, braise it with beef, onions, and broth, then bake it in a pastry crust. It becomes incredibly tender and flavorful. 

You can also slice it thin and pan-fry it quickly in butter with some salt and pepper. The key is not overcooking it. It's quick heat OR long slow braising. In between doesn't work as well.
